PART 1 — Step Hero’s Upcoming Plans

To begin with, let’s share with the community why the Step Hero team decided to hold this AMA? What can we expect from the session? Lilly.
Lilly:
During the AMA today, I’ll tell you — our beloved users have all the information about $STEP token, $HERO token, and use cases of NFTs, the reason why we create this P2E economy, and how beneficial it is.

So let us start the AMA now by sharing about Step Hero’s upcoming plans.

As you can see, Step Hero recently informed our users and investors about a series of our plans, including the launch of the $STEP token, Bounty Hunting, and Summon Gate feature. We received a lot of feedback and questions from the community. Through today’s AMA, I look forward to keeping you fully informed about these events, answering questions, and sharing our vision and excitement for the future with you.
Here are a few of our most recent campaigns:
- Listing tokens $STEP (in-game token) on PancakeSwap at 14:30 UTC September 22, 2021
- Launch the Bounty Hunting feature one day later, on September 23, 2021, that allows users to stake NFTs and receive STEP token
- Launch Summon Gate feature at the end of September

PART 2 — $STEP Token
Trish:
Let’s begin with the $STEP token!
Can you give us detailed information about the token? Lilly
Lilly:
You can see all the information about STEP tokens through our infographic. Or you can read it at https://whitepaper.stephero.io/hero-tokennomics/usdstep-token. We want to clarify that $STEP is a user-generated token; the entire supply of $STEP is minted by user activity on the Step Hero ecosystem. Step Hero Team does not hold $STEP tokens at all. This will also answer some community members asking if we will hold $STEP token airdrops. The answer is we will not because we do not hold this token.
Moreover, $STEP tokens also have many use cases. $STEP tokens have many use cases. Users can pay both $STEP token and $HERO token to summon a new hero NFT from their 2 NFTs. Moreover, they also can open equipment chests, upgrade star ranks of heroes and buy in-game items like healing potions, power-impulse-potions, crafted weapons using $STEP.

Will there be a presale of $STEP?
Lilly:
Actually nope. There will be a fair launch where the $STEP token is listed on PancakeSwap at 14:30 Sep 22, 2021 (UTC). The listing price will be 1 $STEP = $0.05, and the circulating supply is 2.400.000 tokens. The contract address of $STEP will be announced soon.

Now let’s come to one of the most frequently asked questions!
After Step Hero announced the list of STEP tokens, many investors questioned the relationship between $STEP token and $HERO token. What’s the difference between these two tokens, Lilly?
Lilly:
This is a frequently asked question, and I also think many investors have the same concern.
In short, we can see $STEP as the in-game token and $HERO as the out-game token of the Step Hero ecosystem. This tokenization is similar to that of many top blockchain games now, for example, Axie Infinity. $HERO ~ $AXS while $STEP ~ $SLP, and this is exactly a proven case. Each token has its use cases, as demonstrated in this infographic.
As I mentioned above, $STEP is used for in-game transactions and Bounty Hunting rewards, while $HERO can be used on HERO Farming, Mystery Chest Sale. Both tokens will be used together to Summon new Heroes and upgrade in-game star rank.

Very detailed answer!
And here’s another tough question from the community.
Some people are concerned that the presence of $STEP might decrease the value of $HERO. What do you think about it, Lilly?
Lilly:
Totally no. Using $STEP instead of $HERO for Bounty Hunting and in-game rewards limits the circulating supply of $HERO and prevents $HERO from being dumped. The creation of the $STEP token is our strategy to increase the scarcity and the value of the $HERO token. This idea is also created from users’ feedback and comments.
Trish:
I love the fact that our team always listens to community members’ feedback to improve our products and strategies.
Lilly:
We’re trying our best and putting so much effort into this project. That’s why we want it to improve every day and have sustainable development no matter if the market is bull or bear.
Trish:
100% agree.
Now let’s move to the next question!
As financial investors, our members are most concerned about the token value. So the next question addresses $STEP token value.
As $STEP token has no total supply and can be generated by gaming and staking NFTs, the token value can be vulnerable to dumping and inflation. What will you do to prevent inflation and increase the token value?
Lilly:
This is a very intriguing question, and we did think a lot about it.
We will ensure the circulating supply is strictly managed in 2 ways:
- First, the amount of $STEP minted every day is limited.
- Second, we will consider burning $STEP tokens to reduce the circulating supply if there’s any inflation.
To increase $STEP value, we’ve created many use cases to increase demand for $STEP, including:
- Summon New Heroes
- Pay both $STEP and $HERO to perform the Summon Ritual to get a new HERO NFT.
- In-game Transactions
- $STEP is used to open Equipment Chests, upgrade Star Ranks, and buy in-game items.
- In-game Rewards

Thanks. I’m happy to answer as many questions as possible to explain everything clearly.
PART 3 — The Bounty Hunting Feature
Trish:
Yeah ^^ Now please explain the Bounty Hunting feature!
Lilly:
Basically, the Bounty Hunting feature allows users to stake HERO NFTs to receive rewards in $STEP tokens. There are some rules for participants as follows. The total daily bounty is fixed and divided among all participating Heroes. Each participating Hero will receive a reward corresponding to their bounty hunting ability. His/her Bounty stat determines a Hero’s bounty hunting ability. This stat depends on the Hero’s rarity and will be random within a specific range.
The system continuously rewards players for participating in bounty hunting in real-time, and they can claim it at any time. Heroes participating in Bounty Hunt can not join Step Hero RPG and can not be traded on HERO Marketplace. Users can send multiple Heroes to join Bounty Hunts at a time.
You can see the stat (point) of each rarity here.
This one is used to redeem $STEP token.

When will the feature go live?
Lilly:
It will go live at 14:00 UTC on Sep 23.

So how long is each hunt?
Lilly:
As soon as the user sends the Heroes to hunt, the reward will be calculated in real-time and can be withdrawn to the personal wallet immediately. You don’t have to wait until the hunting period is over to get the rewards.
Trish:
Real-time $STEP reward.
How many NFT can we deploy for this feature?
Lilly: Unlimited number of participants for each user. But the number of NFTs for each turn can be limited. More details will be revealed soon ❤️
Trish:
How much is the % rate depending on the rarity?
Lilly:
Each HERO has a Bounty Stat determining his/her bounty hunting ability. This stat depends on the Hero’s rarity and will be random within a specific range. You can see the image I sent above.
The higher the rarity of #HEROes, the higher the hunting ability they have. However, the amount of $STEP earned depends on the total number of hunters participating in the pool because the total prize value will be divided among all participating hunters.

PART 4 — The Summon Gate Feature
Trish:
Now, let’s discuss the final topic — the SUMMON GATE feature.
Please explain it in detail!
Lilly:
The SUMMON GATE feature will allow you to summon a new hero NFT from 2 NFTs called Master, $STEP token, and $HERO token.
After performing the Summon Ritual via the Summon Gate, you will have 1 Apprentice Hero with unknown rarity & stats. The Apprentice Hero’s rarity will be revealed 24h after the ritual. He/she then will undergo training to become a real HERO with full power. The higher their rarity, the longer their training time (6–48h)
After training, Apprentice Hero will become a real Hero and will have all information (class, element, stats, skills, …) unlocked.
Sounds interesting, right?

What will happen to Hero 1 and Hero 2 after Summon Ritual?
Lilly:
They’re called Master. Master Heroes can participate in Summon up to 10 times. In the next summon, the $STEP and $HERO costs to perform the ritual will be higher than the previous summons.
After performing the Summon Ritual, the remaining summons of the heroes will be reduced by one, and the fee for the next summons will increase. However, you won’t lose your 2 Master Heroes after summoning.
Trish:
I have 3 Leonidas Masters already.
I will try to summon a new Apprentice Hero from them
And is the Summoning ritual fee the same for all Hero rarity levels?
Lilly:
It’ll be curious, I bet
Trish:
As I said, the higher the rarity of the hero, the higher the summon fee.
Yeah! So I think I will have to do some calculations before each summon.

Many people will consider the inflation of NFTs if the master heroes remain.
No worries, we can burn. But it depends on the real case that happens soon when the summon feature is released.
And you totally can have a similar or higher rarity apprentice hero due to summoning gate.

PART 4 — Live Q&A
Lilly: Thanks for your questions. I’ll pick five questions to answers since there are a lot of appealing concerns 😂
Q1: COVID 19 has slowed down many economies around the world, but as a crypto business, does it affect you negatively or positively? Are you still on track to achieve your goals, or are you planning a new development?
Lilly: Covid-19 is an unprecedented situation all over the world, and my city (Vietnam) is not an exception. In my opinion and from what I’ve seen, Covid-19 makes technology go many times faster, and the internet has become an indispensable part of life. And it’s exactly a chance for the blockchain industry as well as the NFT gaming industry to improve and be a big trend not only at the moment but also in the near future. Everything is going smoothly so far, and our mission, vision, and goal are still the same as the initial plan. Covid-19 absolutely doesn’t affect Step Hero negatively; it’s helping us and other crypto projects to go further and acquire more users worldwide since the internet behavior now is changing day by day positively.
Q2: Hey, will the summoned heroes be a higher rarity or the same level at least? Or is it possible to be lower?
Lilly: Every case can happen; the apprentice hero can have lower, a similar, or higher rarity in comparison with its master heroes. But the chance to have a higher rarity hero thanks to summoning gate is possible.
Q3: I would like to ask if Common + Common has a chance to summon Mythical?
Lilly: Everything is possible, you actually can have legendary or mythical apprentices with low rarity master heroes. Of course, the opportunity is scarce ;)
Q4: Will $STEP token gets burnt after using in-game transactions like summon and leveling up? Or will you only “consider” it? Burning it is the right choice, correct?
Lilly: We will consider burning $STEP if there’s any inflation. The decision will be made depending on the real situation at that time. We’ll do our best to protect the rights of our beloved users.
Q5: What can the community do collectively to achieve or even surpass what Axie Inifinity has achieved?
